SUMMIT100 BUSINESS LEADERS OF SOUTHEAST EUROPE IN BELGRADE

More than 200 business and political leaders from the region will gather in the capital on October 01 and 02

Belgrade, September 04, 2018 – After seven years, Serbia will again host the SUMMIT100 Leaders of Southeast Europe, a regional gathering of business leaders and highest state officials of the countries in the region, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Belgrade, on October 01 and 02. The central topic of the SUMMIT100 2018 will be digital transformation, how to use the 4th industrial revolution as a spring board and thus make a “quantum” leap to the developed and globally competitive region.

The Summit100 Business Leaders is the first and unique event of its kind in the region, devised as a platform for economic connections and concrete contribution of business leaders to efforts focused on improving economic cooperation and competitiveness of the region. The organisers’ aim is to gather business leaders and statesmen in order to open perspectives of strengthening competitiveness of national economies, competitive potential of the entire Southeast Europe, thus improving the quality of life in the region.

The Serbian Association of Managers is one of the initiators of the SUMMIT100 and in cooperation with Managers’ Association of Slovenia, Croatian Employers’ Association, Atlas Foundation from Montenegro, Alkaloid from Macedonia, BBI Banka and ASA Holding from Bosnia and Herzegovina, it will gather more than 200 participants – leading businesspeople of the region, prime ministers of the countries in the region, ministers and high officials of international institutions, partner organisations and the media – in Belgrade this year.

The SUMMIT100 initiative gathers the most prominent business leaders of Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia and Albania. It was initiated by the Serbian Association of Managers (SAM), Managers’ Association of Slovenia (ZM) and Croatian Employers’ Association (HUP), with other business partners from the world joining in. The first annual event was organised in Aranđelovac in October 2011.
