PREPARATIONS FOR SEVENTH SUMMIT100 BUSINESS LEADERS IN BELGRADE
Digital transformation key topic of this year’s Summit
September 14, 2018– Preparations for the 7th Summit 100 Business Leaders which will take place at Hyatt Hotel in Belgrade on Oct. 01 and 02 have reached their peak. Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabić and Macedonian Prime Minister Zoran Zaev have confirmed their participation at one of the most important events in Serbia. European Commissionaire for Digital Economy and Society Mariya Gabriel will send a message via video link.
The key topic of SUMMIT100 Business Leaders will be digital transformation, how to use the 4th industrial revolution as a springboard and thus take a “quantum leap” to a developed and globally competitive region. Best experts from the region and Europe will also discuss labor mobility, energy sustainability and branding of the region.
Panels will discuss previous results in the realization of joint regional projects, Edison, Zelena Balkanika, Free Cargo etc. as well as juxtapose creative ideas and design new innovative projects relying on the development of digital technology
This year’s forum will be opened by BoD Summit 100 President and Serbian Association of Managers President Stanka Pejanović and A1 Telekom Austria Group Chief Operating Officer Alejandro Plater

Summit100 Business Leaders is a unique regional business initiative, the first gathering of this kind in the region, envisaged as a platform for economic cooperation and concrete contribution of business leaders to political efforts directed at improvement of economic cooperation and competitiveness of the region. The intention of organizers is opening of perspectives for strengthening of competitiveness of national economies and competitive potential of the entire SEE and the improvement of quality of living in the region at a joint encounter of business and political leaders.
The SUMMIT100 initiative gathers the most prominent business leaders of Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia and Albania. SUMMIT100 was launched by the Serbian Association of Managers (SAM), the Association of Managers of Slovenia (ZM) and the Croatian Association of Employers (HUP) whilst other business partners from the region joined later on. The first annual gathering took place in October 2011 in Aranđelovac whereas the previous, 6th event was held in October in 2017 in Skopje.
