Born on 4th of February, 1956, in Brinje, Croatia.
Elementary School, as well as Secondary Electrotechnical School ‘Nikola Tesla’, he finished in Belgrade.
Basic Electrical Engineering and Masters studies he graduated in Electrical Engineering, University of Belgrade in year of 1980.
In the year of 1989, with two partners, Željko Tomić founded a private company OSA – Računarski inženjering, of which he is still the owner of 60%.
Since 1990 he has been on the positon of General manager of the company OSA – Računarski inženjering d.o.o.
OSA Računarski inženjering d.o.o., is a company whose business is distribution of Autodesk software in the Adriatic region (Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia and Albania), development and distribution of DMS software UniDocs and distribution of Oce and Canon peripheral devices.
In 2007, he was elected as a manager of the year in front of the Business Journalist of Belgrade.
Željko is a member of Serbian Association of Managers (SAM).
From 2012 to 2014 he was a member of American Chamber of Commerce in Serbia (AmCham) Board of Governors and AmCham ICT Committee Chairperson.
