Nijaz Skenderagić was born in Čajniče, Bosnia and Herzegovina, 15th of March 1959.

He finished both primary and high school in Sarajevo, and graduated at Faculty of Political Sciences.

In 1989, he began to engage in private business. Before that, he was a prominent socio- political activist.

From 1996, Nijaz is a partner in the company ATACO, which is distributor of world famous international brands such as; (Wrigley, Mars, Johnson&Johnson, Durex, Pedigree and many more), and is also operating as distributor for products of its partner company Atlantic Group from Croatia ( Cedevita, Argeta, Donat Mg, Grand kafa, Plidenta, Štark and others).

He is an active member of the Association of Employers in Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
