Nihad graduated from University of Sarajevo, Faculty of Law where he earned his LL.B. He also finished his postgraduate studies at Center for Interdisciplinary Postgraduate Studies, University of Sarajevo and University of Bologna where he received M.A. Nihad is a member of the Bar Association of Sarajevo and Bar Association of the Federation of Bosnia & Herzegovina. He is also a member of International Bar Association (IBA).
