Miljan Ždrale is a Head of Agribusiness for Central and South East Euope as part of Industry, Commerce and Agribusiness Group in the Banking division. Gained strong financial and management skills acquired during 15 years in a Commercial/ Investment Banking international environment combined with managing banking equity/debt investments/projects in transition economies countries. In 2000 he graduated from the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Economics, Bachelor of Arts (4 years) in Economics, Major: Finance, Banking, and Insurance. In 2004 he joined a 2-year Analyst Programme at EBRD in London. In 2010 he attended Private Equity Programme for Executives at the Said Business School at the University of Oxford.
Joined the EBRD in 2002 and has worked in various Banking Departments, namely Property & Tourism, Infrastructure and since January 2006 in Agribusiness (FMCG & Retail). Only in Agribusiness team participated/led more than 35 transactions in the amount of more than EUR 1.35 bln. He is responsible for EBRD projects in agribusiness, food retail and FMCG in South East Europe. These projects were funded with various financing instruments from equity participation to debt funding and some hybrid instruments. Responsible for relationship with many large international companies (Carlsberg, Bunge, Delhaize Group, CHS from USA etc), as well as for many regional players from SEE.
