Baton Haxhiu is  prominent Kosovo and Albanian publisher, television executive  and public figure. He is the Chairman and CEO of Klan Kosova.

In three decades of publishing career, Haxhiu was editor in chief of the Kosovo most influential  daily newspapers Koha Ditore and Express.  In 2008  he established Klan TV, one of leading commercial media in Kosovo.

Haxhiu  was head of Kosovo association of journalist  and media consultant  and political adviser for prominent politic figures In Kosovo and Albania.

Through  his media  and political activities, Haxhiu constantly participates  in creating  public opinion in Kosovo and Albania on the most important political, social and business  issues.

Baton Haxhiu  was  awarded CPJ International Press Freedom Award in 1999.
