Andrej Slapar is the President of the Management Board of Zavarovalnica Triglav. He took office in May 2013, after being a member of the Management Board of the largest Slovenian insurance undertaking. A Bachelor of Law by education, he started his career in Zavarovalnica Triglav in 1997 as a legal expert in the Department of International Claims. After that, he has worked in Pozavarovalnica Triglav RE for well over ten years, most recently as a member of the Management Board. He represents Zavarovalnica Triglav in the Council of the Slovenian Insurance Association, he is the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Pozavarovalnica Triglav Re, d.d., the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Jedrski pool GIZ, a member of the Supervisory Board of Abanka d.d. and Krka, d.d., and a member of the Management Board of the Supervisors Association of Slovenia.
